(vegan, glutenfree, no refined sugar, dairy-free)
This homemade nutella is one of our favourite guilty pleasure recipes at the moment. The taste is amazingly close to the real nutella, just not as sweet as the real thing - and we like it that way.
To add superfoods even in our nutella - and eat it even more guilt-free - the recipe includes #aurora - roasted ground milled flaxseed that is high in omega-3, magnesium, fibre and protein as well as a source of all essential amino acids.
Roast the hazelnuts for 10-15 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees. Monitor the nuts as they roast, as they burn very easily. After roasting, remove the skin with your fingers and make a creamy paste of the hazelnuts in your food processor. Add the raw chocolate powder, vanilla extract, coconut oil, agave syrup, almond milk and the sea salt. Mix until the paste is even.
Place your nutella in a sealed jar in the fridge after it has cooled down and use within two weeks (we have never seen it last that long though :-) )
Enjoy the vegan sugarfree nutella for example on toast, pancakes, cakes, ice cream or rice cakes.
