I absolutely love the tropical vibes of this smoothie bowl! Mango is definitely one of my favourite fruit and it goes so well with berries! It’s also a nice alternative to banana as a base for smoothies.
Although the smoothie is delicious as it is, if you want to make it extra creamy add some coconut yogurt, nut butter or some avocado. The result will be a super thick and creamy smoothie bowl!
To add even more beauty boosting antioxidants I have used Love Arctic Fresh Black currant powder which is rich in vitamin C, E, K, potassium and fibre.
1 cup of frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup of frozen berries of your choice ( I have used raspberries)
1 tbsp of Love Arctic Fresh powder
Enough almond milk to blend
Optional add ons to make the smoothie extra creamy: 1/2 avocado - 1 tablespoon of nut butter or 1 tablespoon of coconut yogurt
I personally love granola, buckwheat groats, fresh berries but anything you fancy will also work!
Place all the ingredients apart from the almond milk into a blender. Add a dash of almond milk and start blending. Add more if you see that you blender is struggling. The less liquid you use, the creamier and thicker the smoothie bowl will be.
Serve straight away with the toppings of your choice
